I can't believe Thanksgiving is in just a few days! I have been trying to get my supplies in order to start making copper pieces and just started my first project last night.
I love working with copper. I love the warmth of it and I really enjoy items with tarnish,aging, and patina and copper can fit the bill. I experimented with 3 different designs and love how they came out.

I am so thankful for my new husband and the promise of a lifetime together.
I am thankful that Thanksgiving is my son's 12th birthday, the next day is my stepdaughter's 7th, and the next day is my 34th birthday!

I am thankful for my amazing husband who cares about me more than anyone could.
This year my family gave thanks to the bone marrow donor who selflessly gave marrow to my Mum so she has a chance at living a normal life. Its so hard being 3,000 miles away from my Mum as she goes for this tough time, but, we feel supported in the fact that so many people are loving her and looking out for her.
So thankful for the simple fact that I am an American, I am so blessed to had been born in this country!
