Freebie Wednesday 2-13-08

Congrats to DistressingDelilah.etsy.com Winner of the spoon ring

So someone posted that they would like to see Etsy have Auctions. I think it started as vintage and supplies then morphed into something else.
I didn't follow the whole thread but I did see that someone wanted to get rid of stuff they hadn't sold for a while and thought auctions would be better than other options.

I prefer to just give away things and this necklace has been gathering dust. I call it an antique brass cluster necklace.

I pick a winner from all the posters the following Tuesday night so you have plenty of time to post a comment to be entered.

I think this is a great way to promote your biz...much better than turning Etsy into an auction site

I think there already is an auction site and it is called Ebay.
I just like that I can get fixed priced items here on Etsy w/out the auction hassle.
Etsy stay the way you are !

Love that necklace! You've inspired me to give away some of my dust collectors, too. And I would hate to see auctions on Etsy - there's no reason for it.
